i have never before been so embarrassed in my life!!! for the 1st time, something happened to me that i never thought was possible. i was on my way home from the Comex fair taking the train at city hall mrt. i was right in front so when i got in, there was a priority seat empty so naturally i would sit down. just as i was settling in, (had a big bag and a laptop in my hand and holding my mp3 as well) a blind man came in with a lady. since i was a little clumsy, i got up a little bit too late and another gurl got up. thinking that she was giving up her sit, i till sat a little out just in case. then the lady beside her got up so there were 2 seats empty. since they were 2 persons i would have thought it would be nice for them to sit side by side. when they sat, i got comfy till i dozed off. so when it was already a couple of stations, i woke up to find the lady staring at me and not in a good way. i had a feeling something was up. true enough, when they got down at tanah merah station, the guy said loudly im sitting in a priority seat and should have given up my seat to the blind when i see 1. i got so pissed off i told him - i was giving up my seat to you and i just got the seat and i had things in my hand so sorry if my actions were too slow. the lady kept commenting i was not gracious enough!! i got mad!! i told her look, a lady happen to got up before me and the lady beside her got up as well. since u have 2 seats empty side by side, isnt it better for both of u. and im sitting beside a kid. its not dat i didnt even make the effort. pls look before accusing. then the lady just said, im sorry its a misunderstanding and the guy said he's sorry. all i said was yea, fine.
i have always been gracious in the train or anywhere else.. as far as i know, ive been the only 1 to make the effort in train. those in the train before city hall stop DID NOT even make an effort to get up y am i the only 1 being reprimanded. this is the thanks i get for even trying to be polite. gee. . .thanks!
once a pregnant lady was standing in front of this young couple and they didnt even bother giving up 1 seat to her. i was sleeping so i didnt realise she was there til a certain station i woke up to find out which station i was at and i gave up my seat to her and she's standing halfway across from where i sat. noone nearer gave up their seat.. see!?!? im a nice person..
people who try to be nice are scolded while those who are not, noone said a thing.. is this how society has become.. too complacent and ignorant of things around them.. we have a "heck care" notion tat has gotten out of hand... wat is becoming of our society???
i finally went on my "sailing" trip from 22/08 till 26/08 to Langkawi (Malaysia) then to Belawan (Indonesia) then back to Langkawi. wow!! wat an experience it was!!! it was something ive been wanting to try but never had a chance to. i work in an office taking care of the people that runs the ship so it was a totally different outlook when you are actually onboard. but for sure i can sail for a few days but not for months. unless i really am working on the ship then i guess it wouldnt be so bad but since im "cruising" it got really bored for me since im not 1 to sit still. hehehe. i wonder how the guys could stand it. oh! and i went with 1 of the company's owners son. so i was still the only gurl onboard. hehehe..
i finally bought me a laptop all for me!!! muahhahahaha. . . been toying wif the idea but never got around to it.. was thinking already have a family laptop, dun think i reali need 1 since i've enough of looking at computer screen whole day in the ofis. occasional use only at home.. but due to certain new reasons, i decided heck! i might as well get it now. hahahaha... its an ASUS eee family 1000H lappy! 10inch screeen, 1.4kg lightweight wif battery and its white in color. keke.. just nice for me.. simple usage / super light / affordable (less den SD1K). althou certain programs takes a while to download but i dont need fanciful gadgets - graphic cards la, big RAM size la... simple tool for a "simple" gurl like me.. hehehe.. and im typing this while sitting on my bed.. wif the lappy on my lap.. [how cool is this!?!] this is why its called laptop!

- breakfast was at 7AM so by the time we got up, shower, final pack we missed the sunrise.. - but while waiting to take the ferry was able to see the sunrise right opp the resort.. reali beautiful!!! - since i onli had 2 hrs slp, i was having a massive headache n not feeling too well.. was prob missing the place alreadi.. hehe.. or ppl... - took the 1st ferry out at 8AM since our bus leaves at 10AM and we have to be waiting at Merang jetty by 930AM. lai lee's bus was at 1030AM but at KT - took the ferry at exactly 8AM. boy!! they were'nt kidding wen they do things on time - reached Merang jetty bout 40mins later. super dam fast speedboat! was suppose to take 1hr to 1 1/2 hrs - we had an hr or so to wait so had a drink at tis warong wen a Five Stars bus stopped nearby - it was a double decker (Executive coach) so couldnt be our bus - we booked Super VIP which is like the normal bus onli less seats - so was already 945AM and still no sign of any other Five Stars bus - decided to just ask the bus driver hoping tat the double decker is our bus or dat any other bus coming is not late - true enough!! dats our bus!!! hahaha. we got free upgrade.. - hmmm... wen we wanted to book dat they told us onli 1 seat left.. now just nice 3 seats for us. - full recline seats / movie entertainmt / games wif console / massage chair. woohoo!!! - time to sleep!!! dozed off straightaway. hahaha - was told its a 10 hrs bus ride.. penipu!!! - stopped by somewhere where i bgt lots of different typesof keropok for my mom - reached customs onli 930PM. took another hr to reach Golden Mile complex - lucky thing i took next day(wed) off - mardi applied urgent leave full day while za went back to work - lai lee took bus to Kuantan for 4 hrs where her dad picked her up
- me and lai lee woke up at 615AM to catch sunrise - e others heard us moving about and wasnt able to slp so went to see sunrise as well. haha. sori ladies if we were noisy... - a staff said we can see right opp the resort provided no clouds covering - rushed down to the beach to have the sun hiding behind a mountain of rocks. so so sad!! was cloudy as well - was lucky it didnt rain at all the whole day, had perfect weather!!! - since tis is an extra day(usual packge 3 days 2 nites), we didnt know that we had an option to choose where we wanna go snorkelling coz frm the board we saw that morning snorkelling is to marine park(27/07) so we didnt feel like gg there again - lucky we checked wif the reception the night before (think we kept gg reception everyday, until ppl know us liao. hahaha) - then i check with "botak" (1 guy frm the snorkelling team) if we can go somewhere else. he said can be arranged but must see if got anyone else gg as well. if not its just us 4 ladies and they have to drop us off somewhere after dropping the others off at marine park and we'll be the only people at tat area. he suggested we just go to marine park and no need pay the conservatory fee (RM5) - also he asked if we've gone the whole area and if any guide. i said no - we were on our own n didnt cover alot of areas. he then said will ask sam to guide us. i asked which guy (didnt know any of the guys names at tat time) - so i discussed with e ladies (dunno how come i was the only 1 asking at tat time. hahaha) and all said ok to marine park again - during registration, i found out my kawan is sam. hehehe. but 'botak' didnt tell him tat he had to guide us. argh!! - wen we reached marine park, sam was smoking and playing with small kids. so heck! instead of having to plead with him to bring us about we went on our own to another side of the area tat we didnt explore and heard had more big fishes - a guide (i think) frm another resort were showing some ppl the grouper fish so we went to join - by the time we reached the centre area n saw the fish, sam came over. didnt even noe wen he came in - my kawan ask if wanted to go further to find sea turtles - i signalled the gurls dat we gg further and thot the gurls would be following as well - halfway, i saw e others still at the grouper fish there. e guy was trying to coax the fish out frm hiding. was not able to signal them as well as too far apart and their heads under water - my kawan said we go 1st and find if have any and its not too far away - so we continued and no turtles... so so sad... - by the time we got back to dat area, different grp of ppl and i cant find the gurls.... oh no!!! - since they 3 persons n me 1 person wif my kawan, i kept thinking they should be fine.. my kawan didnt wanna waste time so we just move ahead to under the jetty to see big eel and feed the fishes. mind u!! they nibble on your fingers!!! - then we went to a mini shipwreck. halfway, we finally saw the gurls who was wif the "skinny" guy frm our resort's team wif few other ppl as well - they "scolded" my kawan saying where did he 'kidnap' me to. hahahaha - since they already saw the shipwreck i told dem to meet later on and i continued onward to see pink, purple, blue corals.. so nice!!! - while resting, ladies who couldnt swim(frm other resorts) was 1 on 1 wif their guides came over to rest as well - shortly, i spotted 1 lady holding on to a rubber tyre literally floating away wif her head under the water and no guide in sight - oh man! suddenly a speed boat turned a corner a distance away so huge waves coming - shouting of course no use... she cant hear so 1 guide swam halfway towards her onli to have her guide bobbing up - wen they got back the other ladies (her frens) were screaming at the guide for guiding their fren so far away. the ladies were chinese the guys were malay so imagine the language barrier. i kept laughing... hehehehe - about to go back to shore onli to have my leg knee area rubbed against the corals. since still in salt water so didnt realise was already bleeding - onli wen i went to clean myself wif fresh water then it started to bleed. gd thing i didnt leave behind a trail of blood if not i would have left behind a legacy at marine park. hahaha - then back to lunch. still didnt feel the sting... yet... - mardi has an arabic exam the day after we reach hme so she's worried bout it and wanted to study - lai lee was too sleepy and wanted to sleep - since these ladies didnt wanna go afternoon snorkelling me and za went to the beach to tan and rest - i went to tell my kawan dat we ladies were not gg to "Kampong Lama".. too tired... - suddenly few others snorkelling guys came up and ask y.. ask me go myself and join them - another guy came up and ask if i wanna pilot the boat. suddenly random ppl just started talking to me. hahaha - i was already falling asleep so no matter how much they persuaded, i didnt budge but was very very tempted. hehehe - anyways, za's kawan said nothing new to see and not much fishes so we took his word for it - then i literally fell asleep on the sun deck. haha - wen they came back, my kawan asked if i wanna snorkel near the resort, we go find stingray and turtle. since its our last day, wat the heck! i said ok!! - after teabreak, me and za went. lai lee and mardi since already showered wen to emplore the left side of the Long beach - while getting ready, za's kawan saw us and ask where we gg. za just said in front. we didnt even ask if he wanna join, he just grabbed his gear and followed us - was a very weird feeling at tat time - so i have a fren to take care of me and za has a fren to take care of her. hahaha - a lady guest got bitten on her ankle by a jellyfish at the area where we will be gg. yikes!!! - we swam to the curve (centre area) before a swarm of jellyfish started bobbing frm all over. left / right / centre / back / below. u name it! all directions there is a jellyfish - me n my kawan swam like we're slithering... not easy to avoid these - halfway through, za said their turning back. she cant handle the manouevering. hahaha - me n my kawan wanted to continue as we're almost pass the jellyfish but instead of looking for stingray we have to keep lookout for jellyfish so we turned back as well.. gd thing we each have a kawan. current was very strong n just us 3 may not be able to avoid so many jellies... - so we swam back but made a big detour, swam closer to e boats side before back to shore - za was ahead of me so i couldnt find her wen i got to land. tot she would wait for me wen she reach skali she went to see the baby sharks n i thot she went to shower aldy. aiyo!!! she was the 1 who told me dun leave her alone. hahaha... - after dinner, we went to redang beach to buy ice cream for us n treat rakesh as well - since rakesh had to work 1st we came back to redang bay where i happen to meet sham at the bar.. - certain things cant be typed so hehehe... nothing bad happened. dun wori. . . onli thing i can say i slpt onli at 3AM and woke at 5AM coz couldnt sleep - missed the sunrise as was bz getting ready to go hme.. sob! sob! sob!

our 1st full day in redang... - breakfast at 7AM - got ready for snorkelling to Marine Park at 9AM. announcement was made every 15 mins and all had to register names 1st everytime we go snorkelling. - rakesh had to work so no guide in the mrng. sob! sob! - rented underwater camera as well for RM50 and we can take as many as long fit into 1 CD. anymore gotta pay addtl RM10 which is not so bad. we were able to fit all into 1 CD plus even videos. - bgt bread which we filled into a btl to feed the fishes. mardi just held the btl underwater and all the fishes followed her hand movement. hahaha... dats how hungry the fishes were.. - we didnt know where the big fishes were so we stayed in the middle area and didnt venture far. had to fight off some jellyfish as well.. while feeding the fishes. think za got bitten by the fishes wen she fed them. 2 of my fingers got bitten as well.. like tingling feeling.. haha - was in the water for 1.5 hrs before heading back for lunch - tats wen i "met" my kawan, sham. he thot us 4 gurls were chinese dats y didnt layan us. hahaha - didnt realise we were so hungry dat we almost finished all our food... - had a rest before gg to the beach for a walk while za tanned - got ready for our next snorkelling at 2PM to Pasir Akar - oh! we got 1 reception lady to help us get keropok ikan parang(i think) which is like kropok lekor but white in color and is boiled and u mix wif sambal belacan. shiok!!! - Pasir Akar is more of corals den fishes. they had this metal bars to cultivate more live corals but we cant escape the jellyfishes. hahaha - tis time we had my kawan bring us about. he showed us huge starfishes and the different corals - time to go back for tea - then back to the area in front of the resort(dunno wats the name) to see more baby sharks and take pictures but current was too strong so luckily rakesh was wif us so he went round the rocks to help us take all sorts of underwater pics - while waiting for rakesh, we waited for him on the shallow waters on the other side. guess wat lai lee found.. RM12 bucks!! in the waters... hahaha... - she took off her live jacket and we helped push her down to get the money. so so weird... of all things underwater - we den use the money to buy drinks. hahaha. lucky us... - back to get ready for dinner which is BBQ food if i remembered - after tat we played a game of congkram which is a game some of us have not played before so had hilarious results - rakesh then treated us 4 to ice cream cone and we went walking to the other resorts to the right of Redang Bay - found alot alot more blue sand at Redang Reef resort - also a baby sea turtle whom 1 guy bred since it was very very tiny and will release it to the sea when it is big enough. oh so cute!!! - walked about abit more before heading back to sleep
